Description
La Lanzada Beach is located in the tourist municipalities of Sanxenxo and O Grove. It has earned a blue flag. Including the adjacent sections of Areas Gordas and Lapa, it is more than 2.5 km long.
It has a wooden boardwalk that allows us to oxygenate our bodies and lift our spirits in any season of the year.
Surrounding it is a protected natural environment of dunes that belong to the Natura 2000 network. The sports that can be enjoyed on this beach include surfing, windsurfing, and kitesurfing, because it is an open beach that can get very windy. The dune area is currently a protected ecosystem.
Just a few metres away, there are places of interest such as the La Lanzada Tower, La Lanzada Fort, or the Shrine of Our Lady of La Lanzada.
