Description

In the parish of Cobas (Meaño) you can reach a point from which you get incredible views of the Arousa estuary and the valley with its small rivers. One of them is the Chanca, which flows into Dena. This river contributes to the formation of the marshes of the Umia-O Grove complex. From this viewpoint of San Cibrán, the observer can build up a picture of the Salnés landscape, as a whole.

VIEWPOINT SAINT CIPRIANO
Mostrar/Ocultar transcripción

DID YOU KNOW… that with its 209 meters of height, the Mount Saint Cipriano of Cobas becomes a magnificent viewpoint?

Its excellent location in the council of Meaño, in the heart of O Salnés, allows us to have privileged views of the valley. We can see its vineyards, gardens as well as the River Chanca and the Ría de Arousa.

From here you will see places such as Meaño, Meis, O Grove, A Illa da Toxa, Cambados, Vilagarcía de Arousa and Vilanova de Arousa.

The cross made by the modernistic sculptor Francisco Pazos, native from Meaño, can be found in the best place to enjoy the views.

Every second weekend of June, the festivity of Saint Cipriano is celebrated in this recreational area?
